About Palavon
From the Portuguese word, "palavra" meaning speech. V.O.N. is the acronym for Voice Over Network. Palavon means, to speak your voice over the network.
As more work environments become "virtual" - spread out across many offices,
cities, and even internationally, Palavon, Inc. is meeting the needs of
these virtual companies with entirely new voice offerings. Our
user-friendly web portal allows customers, regardless of technical
expertise, to manage their voice network's functionality from a completely
secure environment.
Capabilities that were previously only available to large corporations are
now within reach of the small, virtual enterprise. Palavon places advanced
PBX-like functionality - from assigning extensions, to setting up IVR
capabilities, such as for technical support, press or say #1," to
monitoring usage stats, to recording of calls - under a web-based
dashboard.
Palavon, Inc. has developed and deployed an enterprise-class hosted PBX
platform to serve the growing virtual office workforce. The service
combines all of the benefits of automated IVR (Interactive Voice Response)
with the cost-efficiencies of Voice Over IP to deliver a robust voice, text
and data communications solution for small- and mid-sized businesses.
At the heart of the service is a carrier-grade VOIP telephony gateway that
bridges the gap between web-based and land/mobile phone networks. The
service delivers outstanding voice quality to traditional or standard
VOIP-enabled handsets. A powerful Voice Response system allows companies to
deploy an automated attendant - interacting with callers, gathering
information and routing calls to the appropriate recipient. Palavon accepts
a combination of voice telephone input and touch-tone keypad selection and
provides appropriate responses in the form of voice, fax, callback, e-mail
and even other forms of multi-media delivery.
We've also developed a set of VOIP applications that vastly improve the
phone self-service experience. The company has rolled-out web-based
reporting and analytics that provide managers with a real-time snapshot of
all call-related statistics. Calls can even be recorded, and because the
service is completely web-managed, all calls are stored in redundant
state-of-the-art Network Operations Centers and can be downloaded in a
variety of formats for immediate or later playback.
Palavon Virtual PBX provides flexibility and advanced features previously
not available with traditional phone systems.
